About CREG Australia

CREGA was established and registered in Australia in 2015 based on a growing interest in CREG Equipment & Services. The Australian Team is since growing and currently looking after machines operating on two large Australian Projects.

ABOUT CREG & WIRTH

As part of the growth and more and more activities in the International Market, CREG acquired German based Tunnelling Specialist WIRTH in 2013 to extend their expertise and portfolio. Since then the International Team did grow to a number of over 3000 worldwide operating members and they have sold over 1400 TBMs so far.

In order to cover the enormous demand for machines for the construction of mega projects, the subsidiary CREG in charge for the design, development and fabrication of tunnelling equipment and more, was established as part of the powerhouse CREC.

In September 2007 CREC was listed on both the Shanghai and Hong Kong stock exchange. In December 2017 CREC was changed from a state-owned company into a state owned-enterprise.

For 16 consecutive years CREC was and still is listed as one of the ‘Fortune Global 500’ corporations worldwide.

In 2021, CREC ranked 35th in the world and 5th in China’s Top 500 Enterprises.

ABOUT CREC & CREG​

In March 1950, the General Bureau of Construction and the General Bureau of Design merged to form the Ministry of Railways (MOR). As part of the MOR CREC (China Railways Engineering Corporation) was founded in 2003 in particular to look after Chinas large, fast growing Infrastructural Market.

HISTORY & THE BEGINNING

Drilling Pioneer Anton Raky established the stock listed ‘International Drilling Company’ in 1895 in Erkelenz Germany, the birth of WIRTH.
