CREG’s 13.46m slurry TBM made the breakthrough on 19th, September in Swinoujscie, a city located in the north of Poland and consisting of 44 islands. The city will be permanently connected to the rest of the country by the tunnel bored with this machine.

The TBM was delivered to the Jobsite in November 2020. Despite the impact of the epidemic, the machine was successfully launched in March 2021 and has achieved very good performance with the best daily advance of 18m and best monthly advance of 338m without any major defects within its 1,484m driving distance. Now the TBM is in receiving chamber and disassembly work is going on.
